The filter bags are typically made in needle-felt-coated supporting scrims in polymeric fibres with different types of coatings and treatments,depending on the application and the operating parameters of the filter.

Simatek filter bags for sanitary applications in the food and pharma industries, including CIP-able process filters, are subject to strict requirements for the bag design, materials certification, and regulations, in order to comply with the high demands from the authorities.
